About

I'm Matt Hopkins. I build, fix and audit websites for small businesses, and I run PageClimber, an SEO and AI-visibility scanner.

Seostupidity is where I write up the mistakes I keep running into: the ones that quietly cost traffic, the ones tools keep selling, and the ones that made sense in 2012 and still haven't died. Every piece says what was checked, how, and what the fix is.

How the site works

• Evidence first. If an article makes a claim, it links the source or shows the test. When a test is small, the article says so.
• A fix, not a checklist. Every piece ends with the thing to do this week.

Disclosure

I also run PageClimber. When an article here recommends it, that is my own product, and the article says so.
