Exciting developments are unfolding at Disney Lakeshore Lodge, particularly with the A-frame cabins that are gaining character with the addition of windows. In a recent aerial update, it became clear that construction teams have been diligently working on these unique cabins, especially those nearest to the main lodge building.
The freshly installed windows can be seen in at least two of the A-frame cabins, as depicted in the accompanying images. Between the two newly added windows, there's also framing for another one that is yet to be completed. Notably, it seems that the windows are being placed in cabins that already have a finished roof, while several others are still covered with plywood sheathing, indicating that work is still ongoing.

The Disney Lakeshore Lodge is strategically situated next to the Fort Wilderness Resort alongside Bay Lake, and it draws inspiration from the beauty of nature, much like the original Reflections concept. This new Disney Vacation Club resort aims to reflect the profound impact nature has had on Disney’s creative vision. The grand opening is anticipated sometime in 2027, and those traveling on the monorail or water taxi between Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will be able to witness the ongoing construction efforts.
